Hidden cancellation fees and buried small print are standard in the industry. We think you deserve better. Here's our refund policy in plain English.

Plates sold directly by GoReg

Changed your mind? You have 7 days from purchase to cancel, just email us at sales@goreg.co.uk.

We know people change their mind and that misspellings happen, so unlike our competitors we don't charge any cancellation fees.

The DVLA make the final call on whether a cancellation is approved. They usually are, but it's not something we can guarantee.

Note. If you've already put the registration onto your car, the DVLA will not allow you to cancel the order and you won't be able to receive a refund.

Plates sold by private sellers

When a plate is listed by a private seller, whether that's a dealer or an individual, it's a private sale, so we're not able to offer refunds once a purchase has gone through.

The good news: you won't be charged a penny until we've confirmed the plate is available and secured it for you. If for any reason we can't, you won't pay anything.
